GeoXtra was founded by a team of expert civil and mining engineers, software developers, and data scientists who share a vision to revolutionize construction QA/QC through technology.
Mo Shahsavari, a senior geotechnical engineer with a PhD and 15 years of experience in global infrastructure projects, identified critical challenges in field data collection and quality assurance/control reporting, as well as compliance checks that often take longer than necessary. These challenges frequently lead to delays, increased costs, and compliance risks.
Inspired to create a solution, Mo joined forces with Saba Far, a seasoned data scientist and machine learning expert with over a decade of experience, to develop a comprehensive tool that leverages AI and new technology to collect and process high-quality field data in harsh site environments.
